Written and performed by Kim Ho and directed by Laura Scrivano, THE LANGUAGE OF LOVE is a wry, sensitive and moving account of a young man coming to terms with his sexuality and facing a life-changing decision.
Released in April 2013, THE LANGUAGE OF LOVE was the winner of the Audience Award at My Queer Career, Sydney Mardi Gras, 2014.

ABOUT THE WRITER & STAR: KIM HO
Kim Ho was born and raised in Sydney. Throughout his schooling, he was heavily involved in music and drama, performing in plays such as The Popular Mechanicals, Louis Nowra’s Cosi and Monty Python’s Spamalot. He is also involved in community theatre, and has played an ungodly number of animals: springboks, foxes, crabs, and horses.Read more about Kim here.

START MAKING SENSE
Coming to terms with your sexuality can be challenging for many young gay men. At ACON, the Start Making Sense workshop gives you the chance to talk about safe sex, being gay, relationships, the gay community and other issues that may interest you. Hopefully by the end of the workshop you’ll have made some new friends and had some fun along the way while talking about being gay/bisexual and some of the related issues.
- Who’s it for?: Gay, bisexual and other same-sex attracted guys 26 and under
- Duration: Six weeks, every Thursday
- When: The next ‘Start Making Sense’ workshop starts Thursday 10 April 2014.
