RPA Sexual Health
FREE AND CONFIDENTIAL – NO MEDICARE CARD NEEDED
RPA Sexual Health provides HIV and sexually transmissible infection (STI) testing and treatment to people who live or work in the Sydney Local Health District. It is FREE, confidential and no Medicare card is required to access the service.
The clinic is located conveniently in Camperdown near Royal Prince Alfred Hospital close to Parramatta Road, at 16 Marsden Street, Camperdown 2050.
No doctor’s referral required and appointments are recommended to avoid long waiting periods.
The service provides specialist sexual health and HIV doctors appointments and nursing health checks. We also have express STI and HIV testing services which means if you have no symptoms and just want a quick test, you can be in and out in 15-20 min (express clinic available by appointment only).
RPA Sexual Health is a non-judgmental clinic with warm and welcoming staff. The service dedicates more than 60% of its care to gay men and men who have sex with men.
Our service is open Mon – Fri and offers early 8.30am appointments, lunch time appointments and some evening appointments.

- PrEP for patients who do not have Medicare
- Post-exposure prophylaxis (PEP) for HIV

- Free condoms and lubricant

- Pregnancy testing and counselling
- Needle and syringe programs and sexual health check-ups for people who inject drugs

HOW TO FIND US
The clinic is located at 16 Marsden St Camperdown which is off Missenden Road at the Parramatta Road end.
Parking: Limited public parking is available on Hospital Road, off Carillon Avenue, for $5 per hour. The car park is open 24/7 but with restricted lift and ramp access.
Public Transport:
- Newtown Station (T2 services) is located on King St,
a 15-minute walk from the clinic, or available on bus routes M30, 352, 370, 422, 423, L23, 426, 428 or L28. The station is wheelchair accessible. - The closest bus stop is located at the corner of Parramatta Road and Missenden Road, a two-minute walk from the clinic. Bus routes L38, L39, 436, 438, 439 and 440 depart from Circular Quay, Town Hall and Railway Square (Central). Additional buses travelling from Railway Square (Central) include M10 and 412, alighting outside the RPA Hospital main building on Missenden Road).
- Another bus stop is located at the King Street end of Missenden Road, a 10-minute walk from the clinic, for users of bus routes 422, 423, 426, and 428. The 412 and 422 stops in front of the Rydges Hotel on Missenden Rd.
